Who'd you wanna read about bro?

Motherino

Mother mine, Uzma Shahid, but somehow we get the dad's last name as our name, so that's that. Anyways, motherino may seem like the more preferable parent, and in the end, I would say yes. However, there's alot more to her that I didn't realise up until now.
She's actually very VERY fragile. There's too much about her that's not healed and it creates soooo many emotional problems that it's annoying. It's become her Nafs, basically. Constantly complaining about how she has "no life and no friends", it really makes everything x10 more annoying than it needs to be.

Other than that, the constant arguing and the fact that it's actually mostly her response to daddy's argument starters that make it more annoying and worse. Mama is basically a 15 year old who's almost 50. She's more understanding though, which makes her more preferable, she won't explode and question you about everything like daddy so yeah.

FADER

Oh boy, the source of everyone's stress and worries and arguing topics. I would not talk to daddy even for general long conversations that I can usually do with mama. Has little to no understanding where he thinks he does. A little hypocritical. A lot of anger issues that he blames on triggers. Blames everyone but himself about what he doesn't like about his life, basically. There is nothing that will change my dad, until he might even die, not even Ramadan changed him; if you can't change in Ramadan, then you will never change, it's said.

You know, he knows that we don't like him. I implored him to think of why and yet, he doesn't bother to improve himself. No wonder there. When's the last time he actually tried understanding things from a different perspective that isn't backwards? A typical Pakistani asian dad. Chases money and a nicer quality of life rather than Islam or something. I think he needs to understand why he's in the situation he's in from an Islamic perspective rather than how and exploding over it.

But hey, he's not all that bad. Sometimes he's too busy on his laptop to talk to us and sometimes he's calm(probably because I pray for it) and he has general talk but it's very VERY short. Talks about sociopolitics and business and constant breathing down Aqsa's neck about her life. I'm not exaggerating. HER L I F E. Commenting on her clothes, make-up, salary, job, being on her phone for 5 minutes, everything man. Shiffa and I generally think that he's too into the dunya.

Aqsa

Ah, the "failure".

EXCEPT SHE'S NOT EVEN A FAILURE. She's getting somewhere but it's going to take her time, obviously. I'd like to think she's doing pretty well in general but she is usually so hot-headed and bossy about the kitchen and housework and how many times I've eaten in a day. Always has problems with punctuality in her jobs, which has resulted in her getting fired, but at least it's not a harsh reason. Decided to fail her A-Levels, and left home by herself for 3 years. Eventually came back home for multiple reasons, but we all know that it was rent problems. The clothes she wears is acceptable in society but not as a Muslim family. Too tight clothes, perfume, extra makeup, cares too much about her appearance but Shiffa and I got her to wear her ponytails lower, as not as a camel hump.

I think she's got potential in her life, though she's constantly bossed around by daddy and they have arguments that get nowhere in the end. Let's not even talk about marriage. Let that happen in it's own time, please. Aqsa is not marriage material at the moment. She's only going to mellow out once she's married and her kids are independant. I bet. I know nothing of the future and what's to come. Well, she's basically abandoned Islam yet she talks about it rarely, before she used to mimick and mock it. Now, she rarely does.

Eh, not my most liked in the family, to be honest. Although I can generally talk to her, and that's all I ever want to stay at.

Shiffa

I like her but I don't like her at the same time. We just send each other memes and we can laugh together and we both like being modest muslim clothing stuff. She's pretty chill but can be annoying at times. Has a lot of self-confidence problems that are also enforced by daddy. We all have daddy issues by the way, did I say that? Well, now we know. Chill but can be problematic.

There's nothing much to say to her at this moment, other than she annoyingly asks me how many times I've eaten in a day or if I've had roti. She got me out once, but ever since, she's believed me. I'm not telling you what that means exactly. She also get's all weepy and upset when she's bored and has nobody to talk to. Honestly, I miss the part where that's my problem most of the time, because I prefer not talking to people and being alone at home. I'm sure we both get the gist.

Not the most academic person, she's tired of education as much as we all are. She's very intelligent with people though. She has something that I've never had that she got from daddy, being able to tell if someone's a good or bad person by reading their face. I've had to learn it from psudoscience, but her, she naturally has it. I don't know how but man that's cool, isn't it?

Zaki

I love my brother, of course. We can talk about literally anything that's not serious. We've never had a serious talk before. Our conversations usually go to making random beatbox noises and calling each other monkeys and donkeys in german. "Du sieht als die Mull aus." You look like the trash, and stuff like that. Nowadays we talk about the games that Zaki is obsessed with, Genshin Impact(sadly) and Arknights. It's allllll he'll ever talk about with me until he goes to something else.

He's really intelligent, but, it's his own weakness too. He falls out every now and then. Has a tense relationship with my dad, mama and Aqsa because he uses too much sarcasm. He basically doesn't like talking to us, except if it's me, mama and shiffa all in the same room, I think. Zaki usually doesn't like coming downstairs, he's always cooped up in his room. His hair looks disasterous most of the time, I don't even want to tell you, because then you'd start imagining it and get nightmares. He stole Mr Twomey's hairstyle, he has a man bun most of the time and his hair became curly because he grew it out. We called him Jesus or Musa, because of his hair and it's hilarious and that's out humour as a family lets gooo!

On to the more sensitive stuff though, I know he's very good at hiding his feelings. His depressions. I've suspected him for a few months but now I don't have a strong reason to talk to him about it. He always looks towards Islam and philosophy though. I hope it works out for him, but I haven't seen him pray in a while. I'm also starting to suspect that. He keeps telling me that he's not stupid enough to skip praying because of his games. Ok... I'll believe that for now, or I'll let him believe that... And yes, he does cry. Let a man cry. Let alone a teen boy, too. Our emotional turmoil is something that we're all familiar with in this house. But that's enough for now, you know... You've got a general scope for him.

Nani

Imtiaz Shahid. She's 82 years old I think. We actually don't know the real date of birth but now it's like, 1st March or April 1940. Even I can't remember. Very old, yet insanely strong and active. Has metal kneecaps she can send me to space with if she ever decided to whack me one. Though, she would never, obviously because she's old. I'm not really sure what to say about her, other than she makes potions in the kitchen and then leaves a mess and then complains about it to us. Lol it's fine though, we just do it for her, less stress on her, you know?

Other than that, she has an expanded heart and high blood pressure. Has a medical history, maybe extensive. Recently, she's fallen over and lost a lot of blood I still remember how disturbing it was. Her head expanded and it became a huge bump it was awful. Thankfully she's recovered very well now. The cause was her athritus in her neck, which blocked off her blood supply and she fainted and fell. It's very concerning. However, I do not believe in any way that she's close to death. She's going on very well, praying and reading Qur'an, as annoying as the smacking of the lips and spit is. Ugh. It's become a pet peeve.

There is something though. I probably shouldn't write it on here. It's better kept in my mind.
